When you are,

In a country that doesn't respects the rights of people to express their views, in a country the fourth power is the regime controled media and its 'horns'.

In a country where opinion detainees are the most dangerous amoung all, and they spend most of their prison time in isolation rooms.

In a country that its law does not protect you from the tyranny of a criminal or an armed bully. However, when it does, then come the presidental amnesty for criminals (every year) for all criminals except those sentenced to death or prisoners of conscience!

In the country of its constitution and its laws are found to legitimize the oppression and tyranny, and to protect authorities for its violation of its citizens rights...

In a country which its drama series are stronger and more influential than  politicians.

In a country which any theatrical/tv work which softly criticise the regime, aged 40 years old, still active and relevant to the current reality!

In the country, to break the law in any area is less expensive and easier than to comply with the laws.

In a country which has become a home of a singer without a throat, a mosque without a minaret, a photographer without an eye and a painter without fingers.

In a country which its tanks use fuel at the expense of the warmth of its citizens homes

Then know that you are in beloved Syria ...

حين تكون...

في بلد لا يحترم حقوق الناس في التعبير عن رأيها, في بلد سلطته الرابعة فعليّا هي اعلام السلطة و أبواق نظامه.

في بلد معتقلو الرأي فيه هم أخطر سجنائه و يقضون معظم سنوات سجنهم بغرف انفرادية.

في بلد لا يحميك القانون من بطش مجرم أو مسلّح أو بلطجي. واذا حماك القانون, فلن يحميك كرم رأس السلطة حين يصدر عفوه عن المجرمين كل سنة (عدا المحكومين بالاعدام و معتقلي الرأي).

في بلد دستوره و قوانينه وجدت لتشرعن القمع و الاستبداد, و لتحمي السلطة عند انتهاك حقوق المواطن...

في بلد مسلسلاته الدرامية أقوى و أكثر تأثيراً من خطابات سياسييه. 

في بلد مازال أي عمل ناقد ,عمره 40 سنة, فاعلاً و ذا صلة بالواقع الحالي!

في بلد, أن تكسر القانون في أي مجال هو أقل كلفة و أسهل من أن تلتزم بالقوانين

في بلد أضحى فيها المغني بلا حنجرة و مسجد بلا مئذنة و المصور بلا عين و الرسام بلا أصابع

في بلد دباباته تحظى بالوقود على حساب دفء منازل المواطنيين

فاعلم أنك في سوريا الحبيبة... 

US Talks with the Muslim Brotherhood

The Story:

Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood welcomes US talks

My POV:

If US opens a dialogue with the Muslim Brotherhood, US gains two benefits:

1st - Publicity: As a government and a nation, "US is not Islamophobic and ready to help Muslims 'form' their nations away from extremism."

2nd - US will be paying a tribute to any politician who oppose to the Brotherhood cos this matter will be publicised as "the MB are seeking US approval to practise politics. 1st you had Mubarak, now you have the MB!"

Conflicts among Muslims sects

The problem: Muslims of different sects are always get involved in endless argument and this causes enormous hatred among different sects followers of the same society. Futhermore, this hatred is one of many reasons behind civil wars in the region.

The obvious solution: an international Muslim committee which has representatives of all sects of Islam. This committee regulates Muslim matters and fatwas and checks its usability in modern times. Moreover, decline any sectarian hatred callers with threatening to prosecute. Also, close all sectarian TV channels which tries to recruit followers from other sects and establish a unified TV channel which speaks in the name of all Muslims and rejects all talks about differences between the sects (that is because you can't argue different versions of history. So, just drop the argument and let's not talk about it anymore).

The obstacle: Being a politial system and a religion at the same time and regulated by the superior power of God, Islam is very politicised and sects are being abused by politicians and authoritarian regimes to justify means of repression and draw attention away from its corruption.

And the conflict continues...

A religion theory

Religion is a very solid concept thus unarguable and changeable.

Any solid & unarguable concept is invalid in the course of the human civilisation development.

The problem: Religion is very embed in the eastern cultures and can't and should not be removed.

Everyone wants to belong, thus alternatives to religions should be proposed

Other concept should have the upper hand over one's spiritual affiliation like one's citizenship.

News blogging - problem #1

Blogging is a great source of news by civilians and bloggers where news agencies are not present.

Problem is the lack of transparency and biassed opinions.

Possible solution might be: a code of conduct for news bloggers.
